Prayer is at the heart of everything that we do. Prayer is our active part of our relationship with Jesus our God. In the menu on the right you will find links to our prayer notes, and to the Church of England’s excellent daily prayer website.
If you would like us to pray for a particular person or situation, please contact one of the clergy (see Ministry team page), email us on email@example.com or send a text to 07583 180083. You don’t need to provide any personal details unless you wish to but if you do want someone to contact you, please make sure you leave a telephone number or email address.
Most of our churches are open thoughout the day for you to drop in for a quiet time of prayer should you wish it. See the Churches section for details of the times the churches are open.
Team Prayer Breakfast
Team Prayer Breakfasts are usually in the nominated church, from 9am to 10am, and include a light breakfast after the period of silent private prayer.
Please check Binsey Link magazine for the location.
Do come and join this friendly and happy event and maybe, meet new people. Our loving God longs for us to talk with Him and your prayers are needed.
Midweek Prayer Every Wednesday at Midday
Midweek Prayer – 12 Midday Every Wednesday
Corporate prayer is something that has been part of the Church’s life since it began, and it is very important for individuals as well as whole churches. More than anything else, praying together brings about change. Praying with one another, we can witness God produce miracles and change hearts.
A time to pause in the middle of the week. Come and see what God can do.

We offer here some links to Daily Prayers in both Traditional and Contemporary language. You might use these forms for your daily devotions or to lead your family in prayer. The Bassenthwaite Prayer Group has used them to guide their worship too.
The Bible readings suggested in the prayers follow the cycles of the Church of England Lectionary, and are an excellent way of discovering the treasures in Holy Scripture. If you can’t find the time for the whole prayer every day, do try to read the Scripture passages for Morning Prayer.
Finding a quiet few minutes a day for private devotions will help you grow in the knowledge and love of God.
