Confirmation
Confirmation is a special church service in which a person confirms the promises that were made when they were baptised. Parents and godparents made these promises for you, if you were baptised as a child. If you are a young person or adult, you now may want to make these promises for yourself and commit your life to following Jesus Christ. During the Service you will make these promises and your friends, family and the Binsey Christian community will be there to make the promise to support and pray for you.
Thinking about Confirmation...
Please speak to our Team Rector, Revd. Stephen Banks. He will invite you to some meetings to help you prepare for the service. These meetings will help you explore your faith as you have discussions with other people who are also thinking about confirmation. Throughout these meetings you can ask questions about God, Jesus and the journey of faith in safe place.
